➤ Spokane firefighters rescued an injured dog on New Year’s Eve after the pet was found nearly 15 feet down a cliff near the Howard Street Bridge in Riverfront. Firefighter Scott Polley used a harness to safely recover the animal, and it was reunited with its owner after about 40 minutes. FOX 28 Spokane
