- ➤ After a four-week quarantine due to a parvovirus outbreak, SCRAPS resumed adult dog adoptions Monday at its Spokane Valley location at 6815 E. Trent Ave. The agency now has 36 adult dogs and six puppies ready for adoption, while SpokAnimal offers appointment-based adoptions for healthy dogs & available cats. The Spokesman-Review
- ➤ Local businesses and non-profits, including Pro Mobile Auto Detail and Indaba Coffee, are collecting clothes for 1,000 homeless people this winter, ending Friday with a distribution event Saturday at 9 a.m. at Dignified Workday near 2nd and Division (coffee, hot chocolate, and food will be provided).
