- ➤ Consuelo Apartments once was home to Jane O’Brien’s nursing home as she cared for seniors despite a 1939 city rule limiting patients — she ran the care center until selling the building in 1965. Jane, who moved from Canada, changed how elder care was done in these early days. The Spokesman-Review
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ An analysis by MyPerfectResume found that Washington gained 2.3% in real wages and Idaho led with a 3.1% increase between 2020 and 2024, while most workers saw a 2.6% drop after inflation. The report shows gains occurred in only nine states + rising costs impacted buying power. FOX 28 Spokane
