  • A commercial nine-seat Pilatus PC-12 will launch TSA-free flights from Felts Field to Seattle next week (the first departure since 1946), with one-way tickets starting at $299, free airport parking, and check-in 20 minutes before departure.  The Spokesman-Review

  • Comedian Harland Williams (known for his film roles in 'There’s Something About Mary') will perform at Spokane Comedy Club through Saturday. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Parents and staff at Ferris High School are preparing the 63rd annual musical and comedy show to raise funds for school programs, with events running from Sunday, March 8 through Saturday, March 14 (including a tap-dancing cowgirl).  FOX 28 Spokane

  • The Spokane Regional Health District finalized the contract for its new administrator, Danny Scalise II, on Wednesday, Mar. 4. SPORTS NEWS

  • Freshman guard Allie Jenkin of Colfax scored 41 points in the state 2B tournament on March 4 after her father passed away from cancer, earning her a nomination for Sports Illustrated HS Girls Athlete of the Week & fans can vote until Sunday.  FOX 28 Spokane
  • The annual State B basketball championship started on Wednesday, Mar. 4 at Spokane Arena with 48 teams of over 700 athletes and coaches from small schools — an event that draws many families. Games run 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.  FOX 28 Spokane
