- ➤ Drivers on Main Avenue should expect delays as construction begins a two-month project to repair the front of River Park Square. Parking on the north side from Lincoln to Post and two of three lanes will be closed until mid-May & officials aim to open a second lane when possible. FOX 28 Spokane

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Bob Ferguson signed a state law Saturday that removes the fee on mifepristone pills to help providers access the state's stockpile for reproductive health care. The law requires the Department of Corrections to work with the Department of Health and takes effect immediately. Spokane Public Radio
- ➤ Spokane-based Maddie's Place received $2 million in state funding to cover 45% of its $4.5 million operating budget for services to infants born with substance withdrawal, with the funds expected to support the facility through June 2027.
