- ➤ On Saturday, a year after her son was fatally shot in the Minnehaha Neighborhood, Tina Reynolds and about 15 others released lime green and white balloons at Olmsted Brothers Green Park to honor him and 24 other homicide victims as she recalled watching security footage of him running from his suspected killer before the gunshots rang out—she plans to hold the tribute every year. - ➤ Spokane Chiefs ended their regular season with a 4-3 win over Tri-City and locked the third seed; they will face the Vancouver Giants in the first round on the road—since Spokane Arena is busy hosting the Women’s NCAA basketball tournament.
