  • Spokane med student Garrett Yarter was assigned to work in family medicine at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia as he nears graduation, while his classmate Nathaniel Lohman will start a psychiatry residency at Sacred Heart after a varied career path (including teaching and service in Mozambique).  Spokane Public Radio

  • Spokane city officials propose changes to outdated food truck permits to help vendors serve summer events like FIFA fan zone and live music. Council member Sarah Dixit said officials plan to waive fees but keep permits required + affirm safety standards.  Spokane Public Radio

  • Hundreds of volleyball teams gathered in Spokane today as the Pacific Northwest Volleyball Qualifier continues through the weekend with games held on local courts. Organizers say the event offers high-energy play and friendly competition.  KHQ
