- ➤ Northwest Connect is offering special food pantry hours today from 8 to 10 a.m. + 2 to 4 p.m. for TSA workers at its Northeast Food Pantry on N. Crestline St. to pick up food, hygiene, and cleaning products. FOX 28 Spokane
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Spokane County Board of Commissioners may vote Tuesday to request renaming the I-90 overpass at Four Lakes to honor Sgt. Kenneth Salas— a 30-year veteran — who died last summer while responding to a traffic hazard. KXLY
- ➤ Spokane will connect Fish Lake Trail with Centennial Trail near Fifth Avenue and Government Way to boost safety and trail use. The project extends the trail from Milton Street Trail Head with repaving, (new lights and signs) and updated warning systems in a railroad tunnel, starting mid-summer. FOX 28 Spokane
- ➤ Vanessa Behan announced that Inland Empire Legal Aid will pause office hours at its Spokane facility until further notice (the program hopes to resume services in the future). KXLY
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Gonzaga men's basketball coach Mark Few is set to be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame after a record of sustained success. The official induction will be announced on Saturday, April 4 at 9 a.m. PST on ESPN2 during Final Four Weekend. FOX 28 Spokane
