- ➤ Prosperity Eastern Washington is raising rural health awareness with 13 billboards across eastern Washington, while Spokane County assessor Tom Konis explained how property values are determined. - ➤ STCU will build its 52nd branch on the site of a burned-down US Bank (lost to a 2024 fire) in Lincoln Heights; construction begins this month and the branch is set to open late this year or early next year with a lobby and drive-through lanes (including a walk-up ATM). FOX 28 Spokane

- ➤ Following controversy over a predominantly white cast, Spokane Civic Theatre on Wednesday cancelled its production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The theatre said it will announce a replacement production scheduled to run from late May to mid-June after holding a community forum + promising more inclusive casting practices. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Spokane County has begun building a $21M center that will offer mental health, sobering, and substance use services at its Stabilization Center facility (opening is expected in Spring 2027) as part of an effort to ease pressure on hospitals and emergency services. KHQ
