- ➤ On April 3rd at 8:04 p.m., the Washington State Patrol reported that one person was seriously injured in a crash on westbound I-90 near Sullivan Road—traffic was backed up and lanes were blocked as authorities diverted vehicles via Barker Road. FOX 28 Spokane

- ➤ Wendle Ford advised customers to buy new vehicles before a 25% tariff on imported cars took effect on April 3—vehicles imported before April 2 and domestic models in stock before May 1 were not affected, though U.S.-assembled cars may have seen price increases of $2,500 to $7,000 due to imported parts. - ➤ A new study found that people who exercise only on the weekend get the same health benefits as those who work out every day. Research of more than 93,000 adults showed both groups had lower risks of early death—heart disease and cancer—than inactive people. FOX 28 Spokane

- ➤ Nearly 100 teams from Native American tribes will compete in the Battle of the Nations basketball tournament from today through Sunday in Spokane and Liberty Lake. Tournament director Jerry Ford Redbone said the event features 64 men's teams and 32 women's teams in its inaugural women's division and will award cash prizes, painted buffalo skulls and Pendleton jackets to top teams.
