- ➤ Spokane Police are asking for help to locate a 67-year-old woman who was last seen at 8:30 a.m. Friday on North Lidgerwood — she is around 5 feet tall, weighs about 130 pounds, has blue eyes, may be experiencing cognitive decline, and was wearing a sweatsuit with a long gray coat. KXLY
- ➤ Spokane police asked for help finding Debra, a 67-year-old woman who was last seen at 8:30 a.m. Friday near the 6100 block of North Lidgerwood Street and is described as 5 feet tall, about 130 pounds with blue eyes, wearing a sweatsuit and long gray coat and prone to getting lost; anyone with useful information is urged to contact Crime Check (509-456-2233, case number 2025-20065558). - ➤ A Spokane man, Steven White, 48, was sentenced to 30 years in prison and 36 months of community custody for second-degree murder after he fatally stabbed 46-year-old Shan Anderson near the Wall Street viaduct—police said video evidence confirmed the unprovoked attack that occurred in August 2023. - ➤ South Spokane County voters received ballots for a special election that asks to increase the EMS levy—if approved, the district will hire two firefighter paramedics and replace aging, life-saving equipment.
