- ➤ The average price for regular gasoline in Spokane increased by 22.3 cents to $4.03 this week, which is 35.5 cents higher than one month ago and 17.4 cents lower than one year ago—diesel also rose by 3.6 cents to $3.59. Analysts say that falling oil prices and changing tariffs may soon ease prices—potentially lowering the national average below $3 per gallon in the coming weeks. KXLY

- ➤ Spokane Riverkeeper has filed a lawsuit against Purina Mills for breaking the Clean Water Act by not checking or stopping industrial pollution in the Spokane River—this means the company did not send the required water data.
