- ➤ Veterans departed Spokane International Airport on Wednesday for an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials and the group—including 85 Vietnam, 7 Korean and 2 World War II veterans—is scheduled to return today at 7:30 p.m. FOX 28 Spokane
- ➤ Yesterday, 85 Vietnam War veterans, 7 Korean War veterans and 2 World War II veterans embarked on an Honor Flight from Spokane International Airport to Washington, D.C.—they will return today at 7:30 p.m. for a public welcoming ceremony. KHQ

- ➤ Spokane County Parks, Recreation and Golf announced that Bear Lake Regional Park is closed to the public as crews work on construction + lawn seeding; the front gate and parking lots are inaccessible, and there is no set date for reopening. KXLY
- ➤ Spokane officials announced a series of safety measures that will soon ban right turns on red lights on Main Street between Monroe and Division, reprogram crosswalk signals to give pedestrians a head start, rename the traffic enforcement unit for safety work, and install new red light cameras at dangerous intersections + form a team to review crash data.
