CRIME NEWS

  • Spokane authorities identified 24-year-old Hasani Vita as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on April 21 near the Amazon fulfillment center on West Geiger Boulevard—deputies responded, attempted CPR, and found that two or three people fled the area after the incident.  FOX 28 Spokane
  • Cody Jensen, 35, allegedly kicked in a door and set a home on his Spokane Valley property on April 28 by throwing gasoline-filled bottles that ignited a couch while the fire spread to nearby vehicles and a flower bed — he now faces charges of arson, malicious placement of explosives, felony harassment, drug offenses and possession of a stolen firearm.  FOX 28 Spokane
  • A 24-year-old man died near the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Geiger Boulevard and Hayford Road from gunshot wounds after deputies responded to a reported shooting around 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, and his death was later ruled a homicide with no arrests made.  KXLY
