- ➤ Washington’s Department of Fish and Wildlife opened its annual northern pikeminnow reward fishery on Thursday along the Columbia and Snake rivers to help protect salmon and steelhead+ anglers earn $6 for each of the first 25 fish, $8 for fish 26 to 200 and $10 for each additional fish as part of a program running daily through Sept. 30.
