- ➤ Early this morning, the Spokane Fire Department responded at 2:45 a.m. to a house fire on South Hill at the 3900 block of South Havana Street—where a neighbor heard barking dogs and popping sounds—sending one man to hospital for smoke inhalation as crews continued to control hot spots and investigate the cause. - ➤ Spokane County detectives believe the man found dead in a parked RV on East Broadway Avenue on May 4 was a homicide victim—authorities are seeking information on the vehicle's previous location. KXLY
- ➤ Authorities in Spokane seized fentanyl powder capable of killing 25,000 people and over 16,000 fentanyl pills—along with 36 guns, 14 pounds of meth, a kilo of heroin, $31,000 and four vehicles—from an apartment that received more than 50 calls over two years as part of a seven-month drug trafficking investigation.
