- ➤ Police identified two homicide victims—60-year-old Kevin Christensen, who died from fatal stab wounds, and 61-year-old David McFarland, who was fatally shot in self-defense after allegedly attacking a woman with a knife—during a violent incident Tuesday at the Hart Terrace apartment complex on South Hill. - ➤ North Central High senior Alaina Gott earned sixth place at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando — her project 'The Access Replayer' is an AI-powered camera that gives real-time audio descriptions of sports for blind viewers. - ➤ Gonzaga University and the City of Spokane urged the EPA to reinstate a $19.9M federal grant that funded projects like new HVAC systems in 300 low-income homes, five Community Resilience Hubs and clean energy job training.
