- ➤ Spokane will begin construction this summer on Meadowglen Park — its first new park in 23 years — in North Indian Trail to serve over 2,800 homes. The park will offer a picnic area, trail, and 16 acres of preserved land, funded by Together Spokane Initiative and a $2.5m grant. FOX 28 Spokane

- ➤ Spokane Public Schools will hold a special meeting tomorrow night to decide whether to place the levy renewal on the November ballot or vote on it next February. The levy will remain the same as it currently funds about 15 percent of district programs. FOX 28 Spokane
