🚧 Accidents
One structure burned in a 35-acre wildfire on the west side of Beacon Hill Monday afternoon as firefighters reported 70% containment while evacuation orders remain in effect and a shelter is open at Trent Elementary School.
A fire started in Latah Valley today, and a reporter from 4 News Now is on scene as officials work to determine the blaze's size.
🌲 Environment
Wildfires near Spokane burned over 140,000 acres, with the Kaiser Canyon fire at 124,251 acres and the Modrite fire active near Inchelium, while evacuations remain in effect as dry, hot, windy conditions persist today.

Washington records show several Spokane Valley couples received marriage licenses today, with local residents joining community unions and nearby partners coming together.
The records also list marriage dissolutions and new civil cases for restitution of premises recorded in Superior courts.
