- ➤ Hundreds of law enforcement agencies and fire departments from Montana, Idaho, and Washington gathered at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex on Wednesday to honor fallen Sergeant Ken Salas, who died on Aug. 9 after being struck by a motorcyclist while helping remove a hay bale.
