- ➤ Terrain, a local nonprofit, held its 16th flagship art event on West Riverside on October 3, featuring 483 local artists+ multimedia performances that included poetry, dance, film and painting. - ➤ The Spokane Renaissance Faire—held at the Spokane County Fairgrounds—drew visitors over the weekend with sea shanties, full-contact jousting, and costumed shows; the event featured 240 vendors and about 20,000 visitors in a larger space than before. The Spokesman-Review
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A Portland State University study showed that federal Clean Air Act funds — including nearly $2 million for Northwest tribes — were at risk and could impact over $530 million in tribal energy and environmental programs.
