Spokane City Council will host Community Days today from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at City Hall’s Chase Gallery to honor veterans, with Council Member Kitty Klitzke urging support for veterans every day.

On November 11, the Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at Numerica Veterans Arena from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with tributes, speakers, live music, and a special gift for veterans, along with free parking in Lot B from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

On Sunday morning, hundreds joined the Race to Feed Our Veterans 5K at Fairmont Memorial Park and Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane Valley.

The event—hosted by Meals on Wheels Spokane and Fairmont Memorial Association—raised funds to support meals for local veterans.
