ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Avista crews are preparing for strong winds that will bring gusts of 45 to 55 mph overnight in areas around Spokane Valley. Residents should secure their Christmas decorations and report any downed power lines if outages occur. KXLY
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Drivers on State Route 27 between the I-90 interchange and East Mansfield Avenue should expect delays today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as Union Pacific Railroad crews repair tracks north of the interchange, with detours in place. KXLY
