- ➤ The Spokane Fire Department received a donated building on the South Hill from Bethany Presbyterian Church for firefighter training, and crews already used the space to practice rescue and safety drills + the facility will allow recruits to train in a real setting. KHQ
- ➤ Spokane Regional Land Bank is acquiring buildable lots to support affordable housing by using grants and reduced-cost sales. - ➤ On Sunday in Vancouver, the Spokane Chiefs lost 8-4 to the Vancouver Giants. After close scoring early in the game, the team fell behind — and they will host Portland Tuesday before the Christmas break. The Spokesman-Review
