  • Mulberry Market hosted its festive “Jingle and Mingle” event on Dec. 21, welcoming local makers and pop-up vendors + live music by Dallas Kay. The holiday celebration also featured a stocking stuffer bar that added to the community spirit.  FOX 28 Spokane

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Washington State Patrol is asking for help to reconnect with the family of Patrolman Don Campbell Jr., who died in the line of duty on Dec. 21, 1951 near Vancouver. Anyone with information is urged to contact Megan King (360 597-4411) to assist with the search.  FOX 28 Spokane

HEALTH NEWS

  • Spokane’s plastic surgeon Cameron Chesnut reportedly has required some patients to sign non-disclosure agreements barring negative online reviews, a practice that may violate federal law. State authorities continue to investigate similar practices in cosmetic surgery to protect patient rights.  Spokane Public Radio
  • Spokane regional health leaders welcomed the federal decision to move marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III, saying the change will allow more medical research on its benefits and risks while local laws stay the same.  FOX 28 Spokane
