Hundreds of youth from across the Inland and Pacific Northwest will compete at the 90th annual Junior Livestock Show at Spokane County Fair and Expo Center from April 30 to May 3.

The show will begin with an opening ceremony on April 29 at 6:30 p.m., include livestock competitions and an awards presentation on May 2, and feature a local meat sale on May 3 — attendance is free.

Spokane ranked 43rd among 182 U.S. cities for affordable rent, according to a WalletHub study released April 20.
